My name is Antoinette and yip I love knitting.

It started a few years ago with the idea of knitting a curtain but soon I got bored of knitting straight pieces and started experimenting with knitting shapes. From which the hearts came and that were a lot of hearts but I had seen that pretty soon and thought I would try animals.

My first idea was to make a crocodile and that worked, only it turned out to be a crocodile of about one meter so it was a bit too big.

But after a lot of calculation, trial and error the crocodiles came out with a reasonable size and from there it all started and now we are here.

All products for sale are made without a pattern, hence the name KNITTING WITHOUT A PATTERN because everything is made by heart through a lot of imagination, trying out, counting, counting, trying out, counting out and so on until an animal or other product came out. Then a note in a booklet to make it faster next time but everything is handmade. Therefore if I make two the same there is still some difference in them and I am proud of that because all products are made with a lot of attention and love.

But this in brief is how I came to knitting and why the name BREIEN WITHOUT PATROON.
